Color Coordinated Setting the Mood

Studies have shown that specific colors make you feel more energized or less stressed by increasing oxygen flow to the brain or decreasing heart rates. Choosing the right colors can help set the mood for whatever tasks you want to accomplish in different rooms of your home!

Blue & Green

These colors are subconsciously processed as calming and hopeful colors that help you remain centered and focused. Use them in the bedroom to create a tranquil atmosphere that will help you relax at the end of the day, or incorporate them into your office to help you stay productive and creative.

Red, Orange & Yellow

Yellow is a joyful color and red ignites feelings of passion. Orange combines the two for an energetic effect. These colors work well in the kitchen, dining room, or living room. We recommend that you use these colors as accents with lots of neutrals to balance their strong presence.

Black & Gray

Black is often perceived as an aggressive color and gray can make you feel a sense of apathy or passiveness. You can still incorporate these colors into a room by pairing black with more calming colors like light blue or purple and using bright hues to dress up gray walls or furniture. Paired with the right color scheme, black and gray can add a sense of drama to your home and make it stand out.
