All of Our Solid Wood Furniture is built in America Using Solid Hardwoods that is Built to Last Forever. Solid Hardwoods are a show case of nature’s beauty. Each piece of wood has its own grain and charm formed by its environment.

Wood Species we use

Walnut

Walnut is a gorgeous wood, and we recommend it as shown in natural. Walnut can range from lighter pale brown streaks to dark chocolate brown streaks. The walnut tree that’s native to United States and what we source from is called American Black Walnut. They are found all over Midwest Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana.

Brown Maple

Brown maple shows beautiful variations and has a smooth and clean grain. It has unique patterns and is the most popular wood species. Brown Maple wood comes predominantly from two different tress which is the Big Leaf Maple and Red Maple tree.

Cherry

Cherry wood is elegant and timeless. It includes stunning shades that range in color from blond to reddish brown. This is some of the most prized furniture hardwood in America. Cherry wood furniture comes from the American Black Cherry fruit tree.

Hickory

Hickory wood is an incredible combination of light and dark colors which gives it such a unique appearance. It is the hardest wood we use in our furniture. Hickory wood grain is straight with some waves and has a medium texture.

Elm

This is some of the most unique and boldest grains you will find on wood furniture. It kind of reminds you of tiger stripes. Elm furniture comes from one of three trees which is the American Elm, English Elm, and the Red Elm.

Quarter Sawn White Oak

This is a classic in American Made Solid Wood furniture. It has unique patterns throughout the grain it is oak wood that is cut at a 90 degree angle which gives it the grain it has. This is perfect for an Arts & Crafts style home. The larges variety of oak tress grow in the United States and are categorized as either white oaks or red oaks.

Wormy Maple

Wormy maple is named due to small beetles boring into the wood. This leaves some incredibly unique characteristics and marks in the wood. These holes come from the Ambrosia beetle, and the paths it takes leave these incredible looking tiger stripes.

Red Oak

This is the classic wood that was used in American hardwood furniture. You’ve seen it countless times and is one of the most widely used hardwoods. The grain is prominent and offers a medium texture.
